Sakshi,
ArcGIS is not compatible with MacOS.

You might check with your department to see if they have a remote desktop environment you can access that has ArcGIS installed.

If you need to run this on your own computer, you could install QGIS, which is a free, open source alternative that is Mac compatible.

And finally, if you have a Macbook with an Intel chip (not M1/M2), you may also be able to install a Windows operating system on your computer and then install ArcGIS as Lawrence suggested.

ESRI’s ArcGIS Pro on Mac[1] page states:



To use ArcGIS Pro on a Mac, a contemporary Mac (MacBook Pro, iMac, or Mac Pro) with a quad-core Intel processor, 256 GB storage, and 8 GB RAM or more is required.



Mac systems configured with Apple Silicon (Mx), or non-Intel processors, are not compatible until Microsoft Windows OS environments are supported on Apple processors. If you already have an incompatible Mac and want to run ArcGIS Pro, consider the following options:



Connect to a supported on-premises hosted VM.

Deploy and connect to a cloud-hosted VM.

Hi,



I am a research assistant in the TRAC office at the Civil and Environmental Engineering department. I am trying to install ArcGIS Desktop Pro on my Macbook and I am facing errors. I am not able to open the exe file on my mac and I can't find a mac compatible version of the software.



I need urgent assistance with this if possible. Hoping for help.
