Hello Grad Students,
I hope Winter quarter is going well for you! A couple of important announcements to share with you:
The Canvas page for the Graduate Law Programs Student Resource Center<https://canvas.uw.edu/courses/1726758> has expired and there is a new course. Here is the link!<https://canvas.uw.edu/courses/1726758> You should not have any issues accessing the course if you are using your UW email. This Canvas page holds important information on the graduation process and requirements, advising, and many more resources. Please let me know as soon as possible if you have any trouble accessing the course or any of its content.
If you are graduating at the end of the current Winter 2024 term, please submit your Master's Request to graduate now: https://webapps.grad.uw.edu/student/deg/master/review.aspx. This will take less than 1 minute. The Master's degree must be submitted before March 15, 2024 at 8:59 AM at the absolute latest, but we encourage you to do it now before the lead-up to exams. If this form is not submitted by the deadline, fees and penalties may apply, up to and including $250.00 or postponing graduation to the completion of Winter 2024 (which will necessitate re-enrollment in classes).
* Additional information and possible troubleshooting:
* You need to log in with your NetID and password to access the master's requests
* All LLM and MJ degrees are 'Non-thesis' programs
There are also a lots of student programming & events coming up!
Next week the Center for Career Development will be hosting a workshop for LLM students on how to draft resumes and cover letters tor legal employers. Next Thursday, February 8th at 12:30 pm in room 119. If you are interested in attending, please register here<https://law-uw.12twenty.com/events%23/events/30006101184737>.
