I had this same problem; when the initial prompt pops up looks for the link on the lower portion of the window to log in via browser. This will take you through the same UW log in/2 factor prompts and log in successfully.

Hello all!
I having been using ArcGIS Pro exclusively for years now with no problems. This month I am having problems which makes me think it is connected to the recent updates. When I open ArcGIS Pro I am prompted to log on with my UW NETID as usual. I log on and do the 2 factor authentication and then ArcGIS Pro never opens and I get no error notice.
I am sure this must have been in the previous emails or someone has the same problem, but I couldn't find it.
What did I miss?
- Meghan

Is it a bug or a feature?
Sorry ... couldn't resist.
