[UW-GIS-L] Save the Date - UW GIS Symposium - May 30, 2024

Hi all,

The 8th Annual UW GIS Symposium is scheduled for Thursday, May 30, 2024! This year's event will be in-person in the UW Libraries' Research Commons<https://www.lib.washington.edu/commons> with refreshments provided by generous support from the UW Center for Studies in Demography and Ecology<https://csde.washington.edu/>.

We'll be looking for UW students, faculty and staff to give quick lightning talks on their GIS-related research or other geo-visualization projects. Registration and proposal submission details will be forthcoming. UW faculty and staff: please share this preliminary call for presenters with your students and encourage them to present!
