Subject: Planet.com UW campus license - demo & discussion

Hello all,

The UW Libraries is looking into the possibility of acquiring a campus license to Planet.com. You are receiving this invite as you've been identified as someone who works with Planet imagery or would potentially have an interest in a campus site license.

We will be scheduling a Zoom meeting with Planet in mid-February (Feb 12th-Feb 15th) and would like to find a time that works for those interested on campus in a site license. If you are interested in attending this demo and discussion, please provide your availability by the end of the week (1/27) here: https://www.when2meet.com/?23267253-VJTUf. We will find the best time that works for the most people's schedules. Planet will present during the first part of the meeting and the second half of the meeting will be reserved for internal discussion.

The meeting in February will cover the following:

  *   Planet representatives Dagney Duncheon and Austin Stone will talk about the Education & Research Program products and licensing structures
  *   Q&A session to discuss administration, technical delivery, contracting, etc.
  *   Internal discussion: need for a Campus License and possible sources for funding

If you know of others at University of Washington who are interested in this, please forward this invite along. If you do not want to be a part of this discussion, let me know and I can remove you from future messages.
