Snohomish County is hiring again
Snohomish County’s Department of Information Technology is looking for an
experienced GIS Systems Administrator who is passionate about creating
innovative solutions to solve business problems, values working within a
supportive structure which emphasizes standards and continuous improvement
and excels at leading efforts and working collaboratively with a diverse
group of GIS, operational, support, and IT professionals.

Our ideal candidate will be capable and motivated to assist and lead the
administration, design, architecture, configuration, and implementation of
solutions that leverage the County’s Web GIS platforms to deliver business
value to customers.  The candidate must possess extensive knowledge and
experience architecting, configuring, implementing, and maintaining ArcGIS
Enterprise environments (ArcGIS Portal, ArcGIS Servers, ArcGIS Data
Store).  Experience and knowledge regarding other GIS solutions used at the
County, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Monitor, Geocortex Analytics, Python,
FME and SQL SDE are also desirable.

Additionally, you must have the ability to communicate and collaborate
effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders, possess excellent verbal
and written communication skills, be comfortable working directly with end
users on projects and issues related to ongoing support, be self-motivated
and accountable, and excel in a flexible environment whether working
independently or in a collaborative team environment.
