Hey SSNET,
The sun is rising at 6 AM and setting after 8 PM, making it easier than
ever to attend interesting S+T at UW-related events and programs of interest
to the STSS/SSNET community. So, here are several that are happening in the
next couple weeks:

Walsh (Information School, UW Seattle) is speaking at Reframing Resistance
to AI <https://events.wm.edu/event/view/english/364410>, an online
symposium. The program suggests the panelists will address long-standing
tensions between disciplines and reframe resistance to AI in novel ways to
foster cross-disciplinary solidarity and honor vital curiosity. It's free
and online. Register <https://go.wm.edu/lCxjcs>.
Friday, April 25 | 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM (EDT) | Shannon Cram (IAS, UW
