Hi everyone,
A reminder to please RSVP to the Fall Research Mixer! The RSVP deadline was
extended to Friday, Oct. 18.

Thanks to everyone on this list who attended the First Monday STSS reading
group today, we had our largest session yet! It was a generative discussion
on the ‘thingness’ of AI around Lucy Suchman's article of the same name,
hosted by David Ribes. Our next First Monday STSS reading group is Monday,
Nov. 4, and our host is Daniel Kryger (Information School). There are more
hosting opportunities for winter and spring quarters, please reach out to
me or Leah if you are interested in getting involved and/or joining that
group.
