It looks like an mbox file to me.

In the past, I have used this script to convert mbox to maildir:

http://untroubled.org/mbox2maildir

Download it to your Linux machine, and then run it as:

 	perl mbox2maildir clari.mbox clari.maildir

and you should be left with the messages as one-per-file in 
clari.maildir/new/.
