[Alpine-info] Any Other Way of Alpine Reading Dates?

Well, thanks Carlos-and-an earlier suggestion: Well, I switched from my DecTalk 
to software speech. I certainly will remove the time, but its still rather 
miss-leading. An early section of an index message looks like
-> 1 25-03-05  4:12pm 
but reads as
1 March 25 2005
It is message 1 on March 25 but the date-and-month are in the wrong order.
